ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT & DIVISIONS

The Engineering and Maintenance Department is responsible for computer lab consulting, maintaining the structures, systems and equipment at all terminals (warehouses, cranes, piers, etc.) used in support of Operations. In addition, Facilities and Maintenance works with Executive Management and Operations in determining modifications on additions necessary to the facilities, systems and equipment and then is responsible for performing those changes. The department is composed of 177 employees representing a multitude of trades and skills to accomplish this charge.

Facilities Maintenance Division maintains and improves the physical plant to include structures and support systems like fire mains and utilities, as well as new construction for Operations and tenants.

Vehicle Maintenance Division maintains and improves the operational and maintenance fleet of trucks, automobiles and specialized heavy material-handling and construction equipment.

Crane Maintenance Division maintains and improves materials-handling crane assets, to include quay cranes, RTGs and straddle carriers.
